Salary and dividends calculator

Move the split between salary and dividends and see what actually reaches your own bank account for 2026/27, once the company has paid its tax and you have paid yours.

How this calculator works

  • Enter your company profit before tax and the salary you currently take through the payroll.
  • Add the dividends you plan to draw across the year, then shift the split and watch the numbers move.
  • The result splits out what the company pays, what you pay personally and what is left in your hands.

What it cannot see

The calculator only knows what you type into it. It cannot see rent or other income you already have, a spouse on the payroll, a director’s loan you have been drawing against, losses carried forward, pension contributions or reliefs the company qualifies for. Timing matters too, because when you take a dividend changes the bill as much as the size of it. That is the part worth talking through with someone.

See what your own mix is costing

Answer a few quick questions about your company and how you pay yourself. If there is a fit, I will go through the free pay and tax review with you and tell you plainly what the current arrangement leaves on the table.
